Happy To See Me
'Hey,' I said bluntly.
'No need to be so hostile, Little One.' He smirked at me. 'I thought you'd be happy to see me.'
'Ha!' I barked out. 'You thought wrong.'
And he had.
Kind of.
I wasn't going to admit it to anybody, of course, but a little tiny speck of me missed him. Or at least missed who I had once thought him to be.
