Happy new year!
I hope you had a great holiday season and are as ready for 2023 as I am.
In all honesty, the past year was very difficult for me.
At the start of 2022, I didn't know where I would be living, or how my life would look even just a few weeks ahead. The fact I released five books last year (three novels, one novella, and a re-release) still shocks me as at one point I thought I wouldn't even achieve one release.
Things are better and I'm now settled in a new place with a guarantee of not having to leave it for a long time. Which means I'm ready to tackle 2023 with as much gusto as I did 2021.
Update
So in order to thrive in 2023 the way I'd like, I've got some good news and some bad news.
First, the good news:
So far, I've got four releases guaranteed! Two of those being the re-edited versions of Disease and Disturbed. Still no set date, but the current timeline means Disease will be downloadable again at the end of February, and Disturbed some time early May.
The other guaranteed releases are the next two books in the Rebels of Hollowdale High series: Hated at Hollowdale High and Heartless at Hollowdale High.
Hated is one of my favourite books I've written so far, and I know that if you loved Hero or Heirs, then this book is for you!
And here's the bad news:
I'm cancelling my pre-order for The Sleep Eternal.
I have a great love for retellings and I want to do the series justice. Something I won't be able to do if I stick to the February release date it is currently set for.
Because of this, I won't be able to set up any pre-orders for twelve months, so anything new will be a live release - something I've not done before - so I'm a little scared. But I know you will stick by me the way you have thus far.
I know I say it a lot, but I really do appreciate every single one of you.
